This is an absolute gem of a place! Lola served me with one of the best coffees I’ve had in a long time at the right temperature. Place is super clean and the food is delicious. I will definitely be revisiting and sampling more authentic Greek cuisine.

Excellent food, a great variety at affordable prices and really filling. Beautiful skewers, gyros, souvlaki etc. been a few times and would highly recommend. Family run and very friendly staff and people. A must if you are in the area!

I’ve been here a few times now, I have tried both the gyros and Skepasti and the food is gorgeous. Especially with the I suspect home made sauces like the tzatziki...unreal! And the Greek chocolate too (I’m not too sure what it is called but it’s in a red packet) that’s also beautiful

We came to the Greek Tavern in Hall Green again and had another wonderful experience! Just like the first time, everything was absolutely fantastic — the food was fresh, delicious, and full of authentic flavors. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent throughout our time at Greek Tavern. We had a really good time and felt very well looked after. It’s definitely a place we love coming back to, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a true taste of Greece!

Had an amazing experience here today! So much so, I needed to write a review straight away! My first time here, and coming from a family who have worked in catering (including myself) and various food businesses, the food at the Greek Tavern was incredible. Everything was soo fresh, tasty and served with a smile. We shared a platter, and enjoyed a bottle of Fix beer and lemonade as a shandy. The food was plentiful, hot and tasted delicious. We were also given some cake to try... Trileche, this was also delicious! I observed other peoples food, and theirs also looked fresh and tasty. I didn't know about this place till yesterday, and I use to live over in Solihull. Now in Tamworth, but I'll be making more trips over there especially for this place, that's how good the food is. A truly hidden gem! Thank you, I'll see you again soon.

Absolutely fantastic, authentic Greek food! The service from a young lady was also amazing and very friendly - typical of Greek culture! We went for the gyros portion and it was huge! I'd love to try the sharer for 2 next time though. I'd also highly recommend the freddo cappuccino!! Thank you for a wonderful anniversary meal!

Greek Tavern is amazing! The service here is top-notch—the women working were so friendly and made us feel super welcome. They were on top of everything, making sure we had a great experience. And the food? OMG Absolutely delicious! Everything was fresh, and cooked perfectly. From the grilled meats to with salad and chips beautiful.

The best Greek food I’ve had the last 10 years in the UK. Everything was absolutely perfect and authentically Greek. The pork & chicken souvlaki as well as the pork gyros were unbelievably delicious. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely order again soon!
